There are a number of additional services available in and around South Lanarkshire. VASLAN Locator is an on-line resource for searching the Third Sector services available within South Lanarkshire.

Alcohol Focus Scotland is the national charity working to prevent and reduce alcohol-related harm by promoting effective alcohol policies at local, national and international level.

At Branching Out at Eva Burrows our main goal is to connect with the community and provide support to all who walk through our doors.

We work with partnership agencies to make our Hub a One Stop Shop for information, guidance and help to find and engage with services through South Lanarkshire. We host Community days, Mental Health days, Recovery sessions, Psychosocial groups, and the Partnership agencies we are working alongside host events within the Hub.

We are proud to be taking part in the Period Positive Scheme as well as the Condom Distribution Scheme, we are happy to hold discussions around both subjects and provide products where required.

The Mungo Foundation Logo

The Mungo Foundation – Discover the SGAD Recovery Hub, a dedicated service offered by The Mungo Foundation, situated in the south of Glasgow. We offer tailored support for those aged 16+, providing confidential assistance for alcohol and drug-related recovery, along with LGBTQ+ inclusive group support. Scottish Health Actions on Alcohol Problems – Tackling Scotland’s Alcohol Problem

Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs is a national charity which supports anyone affected by someone else’s alcohol or drug use in Scotland. We give information and advice to many people and help them with confidence, communication, general wellbeing, and we link them into local support. We also help people recognise and understand the importance of looking after themselves.

Saoirse offer 1-1 specialist support together with groupwork based on the reflections and input from the women who attend. Each group is supportive, informative and empowering. Along with therapeutic art and individual workshops, we are also trained to deliver the Own My Life 12 week course. Each woman will receive person centred support and sign-posting referral where relevant.

We are a service dedicated to supporting women who are impacted by gender based violence. Our aim is to empower and collaborate with the women that attend. Creating a safe environment free from stigma is key to all our work. Saoirse is partnership service with Liber8 and  Women’s Aid South Lanarkshire & East Renfrewshire (WASLER).

WithYou is an organisation that supports people with drug, alcohol and mental health issues, and their friends and family and do this face to face, online, and in the community. 

In Scotland we have community based services in 12 Local Authority Areas and our webchat service that provides online support right across the country, 7 days a week. 

We can provide a positive place where people can progress, connect with others and get friendly, expert help. We work alongside people and treat them with warmth, compassion and respect.

Wherever we meet people we work with them on their own goals in a way that’s right for them.
